ふるさと切手 2000（平成12年）4月 28日～ 5月 1日発行
郵政省と地方郵政局は、2000年（平成12）4月、「ふるさと切手」を発行した。デザインは、愛媛県「宇和島城」（634万枚）と埼玉県「さいたま新都心」（各490万枚）である。同時に埼玉県の切手帳ペーンが発行された。
Furusato (Regional) Stamps Issued on 4 28, ～ 5 1, 2000 (Heisei 12)
The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications and the Local Post Office issued "Furusato Stamps" in April 2000. The designs are "Uwajima Castle" in Ehime Prefecture (6.34 million sheets) and "Saitama New Urban City" in Saitama Prefecture (4.9 million sheets each). At the same time, a stamp booklet pane from Saitama Prefecture was issued.
