郵政省と地方郵政局は、2000年 (平成12) 11月、「ふるさと切手」を発行した。デザインは佐賀県の「佐賀インターナショナルバルーンフェスタ」 (630万枚) である。同時に切手帳ペーンが発行された。
Furusato (Regional) Stamps Issued on 11 1 , 2000 (Heisei 12)
The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications and the Local Post Office issued "Furusato Stamps" in November 2000. The design is "Saga International Balloon Fiesta" (6.3 million pieces) from Saga Prefecture. At the same time, a stamp booklet pane was issued.
