郵政省と地方郵政局は、2000年 (平成12) 12月、「ふるさと切手」を発行した。デザインは群馬県の「横河軽井沢間の鉄道施設」2種 (各490万枚) と、長野県の「信濃の国」 (各490万枚) である。

The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications and the Local Post Office issued "Furusato Stamps" in December 2000. The designs are two types of "Yokogawa Karuizawa railway facilities" in Gunma prefecture (4.9 million pieces each) and "Shinano no Kuni" in Nagano prefecture (4.9 million pieces each).
