きじ航空切手 1950（昭和25年）1月10日発行
第二次世界大戦後、日本は敗戦によって航空機を失った。外国郵便業務は、1946年 （昭和21）から再開されたが、他国の航空機が羽田空港に頻繁に飛来するようになり、外国郵便の流通が再び活発化すると、逓信省は1949年3月に航空書簡を発行し、翌 1950年1月、「雉航空切手」5種を発行した。
Pheasant Air Mail Stamps Issued on Jan. 10, 1950 (Showa25) After World War II, Japan lost its aircraft due to the defeat. Foreign postal services resumed in 1946, but when aircraft from other countries began to fly frequently to Haneda Airport and foreign postal distribution became active again, the Ministry of Communications issued an aerogram in March 1949. Then, in January 1950, five types of "Kiji Airmail Stamps" were issued.
