五重塔コイル 1961（昭和36年）10月2日 発行 1961年10月、京都中央郵便局新庁舎窓口で、五重塔航空切手30円が発売された。同じデザインの切手は、既に1952年9月に発行されている。航空切手は、この後五 重塔航空（円単位）15円が1962年4月に発行されたのが最後となった。すでに外国郵便用の高額切手が通常切手として発行されており、航空切手はその使命を終えた。
Coil Air Mail Stamps Issued on 10 2, 1961 (Showa36) In October 1961, a five-storied pagoda airmail stamp for 30 yen was released at the Kyoto Central Post Office New Government Building window. Stamps of the same design were already issued in September 1952. The last airmail stamp was issued in April 1962 with a five-storied pagoda (in yen units) of 15 yen. High-priced stamps for foreign mail have already been issued as regular stamps, and airmail stamps have completed their mission.
