世界陶芸祭 1991年（平成3年）4月19日発行 世界陶芸祭は、滋賀県で開催された陶芸博覧会である。「セラミックワールドしがらき'91」ともいわれる。開催期間は1991年4月20日から5月26日を予定していたが、5月14日に会場近くで発生した信楽高原鐡道事故を受け、翌15日以降は中止となった。切手は、世界陶芸祭を記念して発行され、出品作の「土をうたう」と虹がデザインされている。
Ceramic World Shigaraki '91 Issued on April 19, 1991 (Heisei 3) The World Ceramics Festival is a ceramics expo held in Shiga Prefecture. Also known as "Ceramic World Shigaraki '91". The event was scheduled to be held from April 20th to May 26th, 1991, but it was canceled after the following 15th due to the Shigaraki Kogen Railway accident that occurred near the venue on May 14th.
