議会開設100年 1990年（平成2年）11月29日発行 日本の帝国議会は、1890年（明治23年）の大日本帝国憲法の施行から1947年（昭和22年）５月の日本国憲法施行まで設置されていた日本の議会である。その後、1947年（日本国憲法）が公布され、現在に至っている。切手は、日本の議会開設100年を記念して発行され「国会議事堂のステンドグラス」がデザインされている。

The Imperial Diet of Japan is a Japanese parliament that was established from the enforcement of the Constitution of the Empire of Japan in 1890 (Meiji 23) to the enforcement of the Constitution of Japan in May 1947 (Showa 22). After that, 1947 (Constitution of Japan) was promulgated and continues to the present day.
The stamp is issued to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Japanese parliament and is designed with "stained glass of the Diet Building".
