天皇陛下御即位 1990年（平成２年）11月9日発行 明仁（あきひと（1933年〈昭和8年〉12月23日 ～ ）は、日本の第125代天皇（在位:1989年〈昭和64年〉１月 - 2019年〈平成31年〉４月）。1989年〈昭和64年〉１月７日、父帝・昭和天皇の崩御に伴い、皇位を継承した。翌8日に「平成」へ元号改正が行われた。また、2019年（平成31年）４月30日、憲政史上初めて譲位した。切手と小型シートは、1990年11月に行われた「即位の礼」を記念して発行され、「鳳凰と即位の礼の衣装」がデザインされている。
