日本の点字制定100周年 1990年（平成２年）11月1日発行 日本の点字の起源は、1890年（明治23年）11月、東京盲唖学校の点字選定会で、石川倉次の点字を採用することが決定されたことに始まる。切手は、1990年11月、日本の点字が始まってから100年を記念して発行され、点字で示した「点字」がデザインされている。
