Philanippon’91 Issued on October 16, 1990 (Heisei 2) The international stamp exhibition is a stamp exhibition that uses the method of the International Postal Federation (FIP) regarding the criteria for judging works, and is called the FIP exhibition. It is held every year in 3 to 5 FIP member countries.
In October 1990, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued stamps and miniature sheets to commemorate the Japan International Stamp Exhibition 1991.
The stamps are designed by Harunobu Suizondo, an ukiyo-e artist from the Edo period. A small sheet with an admission ticket for the event venue was also issued.
