Manchuria Stamp 5th Anniversary Commemoration Issued March 1, 1937 (Showa 12) In March 1937 (Showa 12), a stamp commemorating the 5th anniversary of the founding of Manchuria was issued. In July of this year, the Marco Polo Bridge Incident broke out, and Japan and China entered into a full-scale war (Sino-Japanese War).
