Issued on October 15, 1938 (Showa 13)

Manchurian Stamp Manchurian Red Cross Society Issued on October 15, 1938 (Showa 13) At the beginning of the founding of the country, the Onshifusaikai was engaged in humanitarian relief activities in Manchuria. In addition, the Manchuria Committee Headquarters of the Japanese Red Cross Society was active in the Manchuria Railway Zone, which is beyond the administrative authority of Manchuria. However, the abolition of the Manchuria Railway Zone in 1937 made it inappropriate for the JRCS to operate in Manchuria, and in October 1938 it was integrated with the Manchuria Railway Zone. The Manchurian Red Cross Society was established. In 1945, it disappeared with the end of the Pacific War and the destruction of Manchuria. Stamps are issued at two denominations of one type, and a map and the Red Cross are designed.
