The International Congress of Mathematicians (ICM) is the largest meeting in the world of mathematics and is organized by the International Mathematical Union once every four years.The stamp was issued in commemoration of the International Congress of Mathematicians held in Kyoto in 1990, and is designed with "star-shaped polyhedron and the earth".
