郵便切手デザインコンクール 1990年（平成２年）6月 1日発行 郵政省は、日本の郵便切手の世界への紹介を目的にして、切手のデザインを世界に公募した。第1回郵便切手デザインコンクール受賞作品は、1990年6月に発表され、日本の吉川慶樹作「緑の世界」と、ドイツのWinkhaus作「コミュニケーション」が採用された。
Postage Stamp Design Contest Issued on June 1, 1990 (Heisei 2) The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications has solicited stamp designs from around the world for the purpose of introducing Japanese postage stamps to the world. The winning works of the 1st Postage Stamp Design Contest were announced in June 1990, and adopted "Green World" by Yoshiki Yoshikawa from Japan and "Communication" by Winkhaus from Germany.
