占領地切手 5 （ビルマ 2） 1942（昭和17）－1944（昭和19）発行
日本は太平洋戦争開始直後の1941年（昭和16）12月、ビルマ（現在のミャンマー）に進軍し、1942年（昭和17）3月にラングーンを占領した。1942年6月に正刷切手が出来るまでの 間、占領地域の通信支配を早めるために、現地使用切手にクジャク印（治安維持委員会）や昭和切手に軍の新料金を押した暫定切手、郵政再建委員長の矢野印を押した切手を発行した。正刷切手は、1944年（昭和19）迄発行され、1945年8月の戦争終了と共に、その効力を失った。 ＊今井修著『日本切手100年小史』日本郵趣出版1978年P168-169参考
