Occupation stamps 18 (Burunei) Issued on 1942 In 1942, with the fall of Singapore, control of Malaya and Borneo was seized by the Japanese military administration. Immediately after that, stamps stamped with "Two types of Japanese Imperial Government" were distributed in Brunei as well.
