フェスピック神戸大会 1989年（平成元年）9月 14日発行 1989年9月、フェスピックが神戸市で開催された。フェスピック (FESPIC Games) は、アジアおよび太平洋地域の障害者スポーツの総合競技大会である。1975年から2006年まで9大会が開催された。欧米に比べて障害者アスリートの競技機会が限られていたアジア・太平洋地域で、中心的な地域別国際総合競技大会として機能して、アジアパラ競技大会の先駆となった。切手は、この大会を記念して発行され、「車いす競争」がデザインされている。
Fespic Games 1989 in Kobe Issued on September 14, 1989 (Heisei 1) In September 1989, the Fespic was held in Kobe. FESPIC Games is a multi-sport event for the disabled in Asia and the Pacific. Nine tournaments were held from 1975 to 2006. In the Asia-Pacific region, where the competition opportunities for athletes with disabilities were limited compared to Europe and the United States, it functioned as a central regional multi-sport event and pioneered the Asian Para Games. Stamps are issued in commemoration of this tournament and designed for "wheelchair racing".
