世界人権宣言40周年 1988年（昭和63年）12月 5日発行 世界人権宣言（Universal Declaration of Human Rights：UDHR）は、1948年12月の第3回国際連合総会で採択された、すべての人民とすべての国が達成すべき基本的人権についての宣言である。郵政省は世界人権宣言４０周年を記念して切手を発行し、「地球と人がデザイン」されている。
Declaration of Human Rights Issued on December 5, 1988 (Showa 63) The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) is a declaration of basic human rights that all people and all nations must achieve, adopted at the 3rd United Nations General Assembly in December 1948. The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications has issued stamps to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and "designed by the earth and people."
