第18回万国家禽会議 1988年（昭和63年） 9月 3日発行 1988年9月、第18回万国家禽会議が東京で開催された。主催者の日本家禽学会は、1954年に世界家禽学会日本支部として設立された。目的は、家禽産業の進展を図ると共に、世界家禽学会日本支部として国際的立場から家禽産業発展に寄与すること。日本は海外との学術交流として、世界家禽学会議やアジア太平洋家禽学会議等を開催してきた。切手はこの会議開催を記念して発行され、鶏と卵がデザインされている。
18th World's Poultry Congress Issued on September 3, 1988 (Showa 63) In September 1988, the 18th National Poultry Conference was held in Tokyo. The organizer, the Japanese Poultry Society, was established in 1954 as the Japan Chapter of the World Poultry Society. The purpose is to promote the poultry industry and to contribute to the development of the poultry industry from an international standpoint as the Japan Chapter of the World Poultry Society.Japan has held the World Poultry Conference and the Asia-Pacific Poultry Conference as academic exchanges with foreign countries. Stamps are issued to commemorate the conference and are designed with chicken and eggs.
