アジア開発銀行（Asian Development Bank：ADB）は、アジア・太平洋における経済成長及び経済協力を助長し、開発途上加盟国の経済発展に貢献することを目的に設立された国際開発金融機関である。
切手は、1987年4月に東京で開催された第20回亜開発銀行総会を記念して発行され、アジア・オセアニア地図とADBシンボルマークがデザインされている。

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is an international development finance institution established with the aim of promoting economic growth and economic cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region and contributing to the economic development of developing member countries.
The stamp was issued in commemoration of the 20th Sub-Development Bank General Assembly held in Tokyo in April 1987, and is designed with a map of Asia and Oceania and the ADB symbol mark.
