海洋生物学は、海洋生物を研究対象とする学問分野である。海洋動物は細菌から哺乳類にわたるが，海洋植物は藻類が主である。海洋生物学はこれらの分類，形態，発生，生理，生態などを研究対象とする。
切手は海洋生物学の100年を記念して発行され、「ウミウシ」がデザインされている。

Marine biology is a discipline that focuses on marine life. Marine animals range from bacteria to mammals, but marine plants are mainly algae. Marine biology focuses on these classifications, morphologies, developments, physiology, and ecology.
The stamp is issued to commemorate the 100th anniversary of marine biology and is designed with "Nudibranch".
