第5回いけばな世界大会 1986年（昭和61年）10月 17日発行
1986年10月、第5回いけばな世界大会が東京で開催された。社団法人いけばなインターナショナルは、昭和31年に「花を通じての友好」をモットーに設立された、いけばな及びそれに関連した芸術や文化の研究に基礎を置く文化団体である。
現在、世界に174の支部があり、会員数は12,000人である。切手はこの大会を記念して発行され、秋の花と森田廣平画「洛北おとめ（らくほくおとめ）」がデザインされている。
IKEBANA 5th World Convention Issued on August 30, 1986 (Showa 61) In October 1986, the 5th Ikebana World Congress was held in Tokyo. Ikebana International is a cultural organization established in 1956 with the motto "Friendship through flowers" and is based on the study of ikebana and related arts and culture. Currently, there are 174 branches worldwide with 12,000 members. The stamp was issued in commemoration of this tournament, and the autumn flowers and Hirohei Morita's painting "Rakuhoku Otome" are designed.
