商船教育110年 1986年（昭和61年） 7月 26日発行
日本の商船教育は、1886年に「官立商船学校」が開校されたことに始まる。（それまでの三菱商船学校が官営化された）戦後の1957年、静岡県清水市の国立商船大学が、東京商船大学として復活した。
切手は、日本の商船教育100年を記念して発行され、「日本丸と教育創始者2名」がデザインされている。

Merchant ship education in Japan began with the opening of the "Public Merchant Ship School" in 1886. In 1957, after the war (former Mitsubishi Merchant Marine School was privatized), the National Merchant Marine University in Shimizu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, was revived as the Tokyo Merchant Marine University.
The stamp is issued to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Japanese merchant ship education, and is designed by "Nippon Maru and the two founders of education."
