東京サミット 1986年（昭和61年） 5月 2日発行
1986年5月、第12回先進国首脳会議（サミット）が東京で開催された。日本での開催は2度目である。参加国は7か国で、ホスト国日本をはじめ、アメリカ、イギリス、フランス、カナダ、西ドイツ（現在のドイツ）、イタリアの7か国と、欧州委員会委員長が参加した。会場は東京都港区赤坂の迎賓館。
切手は東京サミットを記念して発行され、安田靫彦画「黎明富士」がデザインされた。
Tokyo Summit 1986 Issued on May 2, 1986 (Showa 61)
In May 1986, the 12th Summit of Developed Countries was held in Tokyo. This is the second time it has been held in Japan. Seven countries participated, including the host country Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Canada, West Germany (currently Germany), Italy, and the President of the European Commission. The venue is the guesthouse in Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo.
The stamp was issued in commemoration of the Tokyo Summit, and was designed by Yukihiko Yasuda's "Dawn Fuji".
