国際科学技術博覧会 1985年（昭和60年） 3月 16日発行 国際科学技術博覧会（ The International Exposition, Tsukuba, Japan ）は1985年3月～9月まで開催された。通称は「 科学万博」と呼ばれた。この博覧会は、おもに筑波研究学園都市をメイン会場として開催された。切手は、この博覧会を記念して2種と小型シートが発行され、「科学万博テーマ館とシンボルタワー」と「科学万博パビリオン」がデザインされた。
International Exposition, Tsukuba Issued on March 16, 1985 (Showa 60) The International Exposition, Tsukuba, Japan was held from March to September 1985. The popular name was "Science Expo". This exposition was held mainly at Tsukuba Science City as the main venue. Two types of stamps and small sheets were issued to commemorate this expo, and the "Science Expo Theme Hall and Symbol Tower" and the "Science Expo Pavilion" were designed.
