国営昭和記念公園開園 1983年（昭和58年）10月 26日発行 国営昭和記念公園は、「昭和天皇御在位五十年記念事業」の一環として、立川市と昭島市の両市にまたがるアメリが軍立川基地跡地に建設され、1983年10月、昭和天皇臨席のもとに開園した。切手は、昭和記念公園とモニュメントがデザインされている。

Showa Kinen Park was built on the site of the military Tachikawa base as a "50th anniversary of the reign of Emperor Showa". It opened in October 1983 in the presence of Emperor Showa. The stamps are designed with Showa Kinen Park and monuments.
