特殊鳥類シリーズ 2 1984年（昭和59年）1月26日 / 3月15日発行 特殊鳥類とは、「特殊鳥類の譲渡等の規制に関する法律」によって保護されていた鳥類をいう。日米渡り鳥条約締結（1972年）を契機に整備公布された日本の法で、絶滅のおそれのある鳥の保護のため、譲渡や輸出入などについて規制している。切手はその中から10種を選び、特殊鳥類シリーズとして発行した。このリーフは第3集と4集が掲載されている。

Special birds are birds that have been protected by the "Act on Regulation of Transfer of Special Birds, etc." The Japanese law, which was promulgated after the conclusion of the Japan-US Migratory Bird Treaty (1972), regulates the transfer and import / export of endangered birds in order to protect them.
Ten kinds of stamps were selected from them and issued as a special bird series.
