切手趣味週間 1983年（昭和58年） 4月20日発行 郵政省は、1983年4月、切手趣味週間切手を発行した。今回は、喜多川歌麿画「台所美人」が採用された。喜多川歌麿は、江戸時代を代表する浮世絵師で、背景を省略して白雲母を散りばめ、更にそれまで全身を描かれていた美人画の体を省き顔を中心とする構図を考案した。1955年の切手趣味週間切手「ビードロを吹く娘」も喜多川歌麿の作品である。
Philatelic Week Issued on April 20, 1983 (Showa 58) The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued stamp hobby week stamps in April 1983. This time, Utamaro Kitagawa's "Kitchen Bijin" was adopted. Utamaro Kitagawa was a representative ukiyo-e artist of the Edo period, and devised a composition centered on the face, omitting the body of the bijin-ga, which had been drawn with the whole body, by omitting the background and sprinkling muscovite. The 1955 stamp hobby weekly stamp "Young Lady Blowing Bidro" is also a work of Utamaro Kitagawa.
