第37回国民体育大会 1982年（昭和57年）10月2日発行
第37回国民体育大会は、1982年に島根県（夏秋季）、栃木県（冬季）開催された。冬季大会スキー競技会のスローガンは「まごころでふれあう友情田沢湖国体」、夏・秋季大会のテーマは、「くにびき国体」（「くにびき」は出雲国に伝わる「国引き神話」より）である。くにびき国体は節約国体とも呼ばれ、質実をモットーとした。
切手は、「卓球と国体モニュメント」がデザインされている。
37th National Athletic Meet Issued on October 2, 1982 (Showa 57)
The 37th National Athletic Meet was held in 1982 in Shimane prefecture (summer and autumn) and Tochigi prefecture (winter).The slogan of the Winter Games ski competition is "Friendship Tazawako National Athletic Meet", and the theme of the Summer / Autumn Games is "Kunibiki National Athletic Meet" ("Kunibiki" is from "Kunibiki Myth" transmitted to Izumo Province). The Kunibiki National Athletic Meet is also called the Frugal National Athletic Meet, and its motto is to be simple.
The stamp is designed as "table tennis and national polity monument".
