The Japanese Dermatological Association was founded in 1900 by Dr. Keizo Dohi, a professor at the University of Tokyo. The Society has made significant contributions to the treatment and eradication of eczema, dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, skin malignancies, leprosy and sexually transmitted diseases. In 1982, the 16th "International Dermatology Society" was held in Tokyo, and Japan, along with other developed countries, has taken a leading role in the world dermatology society. The stamps are designed with Noh masks and skin.
