第36回国民体育大会 1981年（昭和56年）10月13日発行 第36回国民体育大会は1981年に滋賀県を中心に開催された。冬季大会スキー競技会のスローガンは「高原に結ぶ友情 妙高国体」、夏・秋季大会のテーマは、「びわこ国体」であった。今大会スケート競技会より、アイスホッケーが、スケートから分離され正式競技となった。切手は、「バドミントン選手と琵琶湖大橋」がデザインされている。
36th National Athletic Meet Issued on October 11, 1980 (Showa 55) The 36th National Athletic Meeting was held in 1981 mainly in Shiga prefecture. The slogan of the Winter Games ski competition was "Friendship to the Plateau, Myoko National Athletic Meet", and the theme of the Summer / Autumn Games was "Biwako National Athletic Meet".
