省エネルギー 1981年（昭和56年） 8月 1日発行 日本での省エネルギー政策は、1970年代前半のオイルショックから「エネルギー安全保障」面から始められた。省エネの目的はコスト低減が主であるが、エネルギー使用量削減や環境保護、安全保障の観点におけるエネルギーリスクの低減も含まれる。1990年代以降、地球環境保全が社会問題化して以降、国のエネルギー政策上重要な取り組みとなっている。切手は、1981年に省エネ促進のために発行され、節水とエネルギーリサイクリングがデザインされている。
