農林水産振興100年 1981年（昭和56年） 4月 7日発行 日本の土地は20％しか耕作に適さず国土も狭い。そのため、明治以降、農林水産省の振興策のもとに農林水産業は手厚い助成保護を受けて営まれてきた。今後日本の農林水産物・食品輸出を推進するためには、前述の輸出振興の課題を解決する必要があるが、「ブランド化と日本食レストランでの日本産農産物等の利用促進」、「産地横断的・品目別輸出促進及び輸出体制の確立」が重要である。 切手は、日本の農林水産業振興100年を記念して発行され、「穀物と木と魚」がデザインされている。
