全国電話自動化完了 1979年（昭和54年） 3月 14日発行 1961年（昭和36年）、日本電信電話公社の電話加入区域を基本として、全国ダイヤル即時自動化番号区画と、それに対応した市外局番が制定された。1983年（昭和58年）6月に静止衛星利用で自動化された東京都小笠原諸島を除き、1979年3月に電話の自動化は完了した。切手はそれを記念して発行され、「ダイヤルとプッシュボタン」がデザインされている。

In 1961 (Showa 36), based on the telephone subscription area of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, a national dial instant automation number division and the corresponding area code were established. With the exception of the Ogasawara Islands in Tokyo, which was automated using geostationary satellites in June 1983, telephone automation was completed in March 1979. Stamps are issued to commemorate it, and "dial and push buttons" are designed.
