第14回国際整形災害外科学会議 1978年（昭和53年） 10月 16日発行 1978年10月、国際整形災害外科学会が東京で開催された。同会議は、胃・関節・筋肉・神経の疾患の基礎的研究のほか、リウマチた悪性腫瘍などの疾患と労働災害や交通災害等の疾患の研究、身体障害者の社会復帰等の分野に成果を上げている。この組織は、1929年でパリで創立された。切手は、この会議を記念して発行され、「人口関節と整形外科のシンボルマーク」がデザインされている。
