National Safety Week Issued on July 1, 1977 (Showa 52) Since the National Safety Week was first held in 1928 (Showa 3), under the philosophy of "respect for human life", "promote voluntary occupational accident prevention activities in industry and raise general safety awareness widely. It has been continued until now with the aim of "establishing safety activities.
Stamps were issued prior to the 50th anniversary of the start in July 1977, and safety marks, high-rise building work, cargo handling work, and safety of mechanical work are designed.
