第31回国民体育大会 1976年（昭和51年）10月23日発行 1976年10月、第31回国民体育大会が佐賀県を中心に開催された。佐賀県は財政難を理由に参加人員を減少するように大会委員会に申し入れた。結果的に、大会委員会は参加者を減少することに同意して開催された。切手は、本大会を記念して発行され、「新体操と競技場」がデザインされている。
31th National Athletic Meet Issued on October 23 , 1976 (Showa 51) In October 1976, the 31st National Athletic Meet was held mainly in Saga Prefecture. Saga Prefecture has asked the convention committee to reduce the number of participants due to financial difficulties. As a result, the convention committee was held in agreement to reduce the number of participants.The stamp was issued in commemoration of this competition, and "Rhythmic Gymnastics and Stadium" is designed.
