切手趣味週間 1976年（昭和51年）4月20日発行 1976年、郵政省は切手趣味週間切手を発行した。今回は、「彦根屏風」が採用された。彦根屏風（作者不詳）は、江戸時代初期に描かれた風俗画である。彩色に金を潤沢に使用した屏風画であり、1955年に国宝に指定された。近世初期風俗画の代表作の1つで、浮世絵の起源と言われている。

This time, "Hikone Byoubu; folding screen" was adopted.Hikone Byoubu (author unknown) is a genre painting drawn in the early Edo period. It is a folding screen painting that uses abundant gold for coloring, and was designated as a national treasure in 1955. It is one of the masterpieces of early modern genre painting and is said to be the origin of ukiyo-e.
