りんご100年 1975年（昭和50年） 9月 17日発行 りんご（西洋リンゴ）は、明治時代初期の1871年（明治４年）に日本に導入され、青森県に1875年（明治８年）に、当時の内務省勧業寮から3本の苗木が配布され、県庁構内に栽植されたのが日本の西洋りんごの始まりである。切手はリンゴ栽培開始100年を記念して発行され、リンゴの木と果実がデザインされている。
Apple Centenary Issued on September 17, 1975 (Showa 50)
Apples (Western apples) were introduced to Japan in 1871 (Meiji 4) in the early Meiji era, and in 1875 (Meiji 8), three seedlings were distributed to Aomori Prefecture from the Industrial Promotion Board of the Ministry of Interior at that time. They were planted on the premises of the prefectural office. This is the beginning of Western apple cultivation in Japan.
Stamps are issued to commemorate the 100th anniversary of apple cultivation and are designed with apple trees and fruits.
