第９回世界石油会議 1975年（昭和50年） 5月 10日発行 1975年5月、第9回世界石油会議が東京で開催された。これは、石油産業，技術に関する国際会議であり、石油および関連産業メンバーにより構成された国際的民間組織である。主要 60ヵ国が加盟しており，事務局はロンドンにある。1933年ロンドンで初開催され， 3年毎に開かれている。日本は 1955年のローマ会議から参加して、1963年に常任理事国となった。切手はそれを記念して発行され、石油櫓に会議マークがデザインされている。
9th World Petroleum Congresses Issued on May 10, 1975 (Showa 50) In May 1975, the 9th World Petroleum Conference was held in Tokyo.
