最高裁判所庁舎落成 1974年（昭和49年） 5月 23日発行 最高裁判所は、日本国憲法が施行された1947年（昭和22年）に設置され、同時に施行された裁判所法に基づき東京都に置かれた。1974年に竣工した新庁舎は建築家岡田新一によって設計され、日本建築学会賞を受賞しています。切手はその落成を記念して発行され。最高裁判所新潮社がデザインされている。
Completion of the Supreme Court Building

The Supreme Court was established in 1947 (Showa 22) when the Constitution of Japan was enforced, and was placed in Tokyo based on the Court Law that was enforced at the same time. The new building, completed in 1974, was designed by architect Shinichi Okada and has won the AIJ Prize.The stamp was issued to commemorate the completion and was designed by the Supreme Court Shinchosha.
