沖縄国際海洋博覧会募金 1974年（昭和49年）3月 2日発行 沖縄国際海洋博覧会（International Ocean Exposition）は、沖縄返還、沖縄県の日本復帰記念事業として沖縄県国頭郡本部町で183日間の会期、1975年（昭和50）7月20日?-?1976年（昭和51年）1月18日をもって行われた国際博覧会である。切手はそれを記念して発行され、平福百穂画「荒磯」がデザインされている。
Expo'75 Okinawa Fund Issued on March 2, 1974 (Showa 49) The Okinawa International Ocean Exposition is a 183 day session in Motobu-cho, Kunigami-gun, Okinawa Prefecture, as a commemorative project for the return of Okinawa and the return of Okinawa Prefecture to Japan, July 20, 1975 (Showa 50)-1976 (Showa) 51) This is an international exposition held on January 18th. The stamp was issued in commemoration of that, and the painting "Araiso" (rough coast) by Hyakusui Hirafuku was designed.
