28th National Athletic Meet
Issued on October 14, 1973 (Showa 48)

28th National Athletic Meet Issued on October 14, 1973 (Showa 48) The 28th National Athletic Meet was held mainly in Chiba prefecture. This tournament was called the "Wakashio National Athletic Meet", which became a hot topic in the metropolitan area. New attempts were made, such as the use of accommodation on ships and the opening of the Olympic Village, with the goal of a simple and steady "normal landing polity." The national polity flag was established from this tournament.
Stamps were issued to commemorate this tournament and are designed for athletics and Inubosaki Lighthouse.
