第28回国民体育大会 1973年（昭和48年）10月14日発行
第28回国民体育大会は、千葉県を中心に開催された。この大会は首都圏で話題になった「若潮国体」と呼ばれた。質素着実な「ふだん着国体」を目標に船舶の宿泊利用、選手村の開設などの新しい試みがなされた。この大会から国体旗を制定した。
切手はこの大会を記念して発行され、陸上競技と犬吠埼灯台がデザインされている。
28th National Athletic Meet Issued on October 14, 1973 (Showa 48)
The 28th National Athletic Meet was held mainly in Chiba prefecture. This tournament was called the "Wakashio National Athletic Meet", which became a hot topic in the metropolitan area. New attempts were made, such as the use of accommodation on ships and the opening of the Olympic Village, with the goal of a simple and steady "normal landing polity." The national polity flag was established from this tournament.
Stamps were issued to commemorate this tournament and are designed for athletics and Inubosaki Lighthouse.
