税関100周年 1972年（昭和47年）11月 28日発行 1859年（江戸時代 安政6年）、長崎、神奈川と函館港に「運上所」が設けられ、現在の税関業務と輸出入貨物の監督や税金の徴収といった運上業務や、外交事務を取り扱うことになった。 これが税関の始まりである。 1872年（明治5年）、運上所は「税関」と改められ、正式に発足しました。切手はその100年を記念して発行され、三代広重画「海岸通異人館」がデザインされている。
