国際文通週間 1972年（昭和47年）10月 9日発行 1972年10月、国際文通週間（International Letter Writing Week）切手が発行された。これは、文通による相互理解で世界平和に貢献する国際的週間である。万国郵便連合（UPU）結成日である10月9日から1週間、毎年設定されている。切手は、浮世絵師三代広重（さんだいひろしげ）の「永代橋の真景（えいたいばしのしんけい）」がデザインされている。

This is an international week that contributes to world peace through mutual understanding through correspondence. It is set every year for a week from October 9, the date of formation of the Universal Postal Union (UPU). The stamp is "Eitaibashi no Shinkei （Land scape）" by Sandai HiroshigeⅢ , an ukiyo-e artist.
