第25回愛鳥週間 1971年（昭和46年） 5月 10日発行 愛鳥週間は1950年、鳥類の知識と愛護思想の普及を目的に日本鳥類保護連盟によって定められた。毎年5月10日から16日の間、日本各地で探鳥会や講演会が開催されている。切手は、シジュウカラの親子と巣箱がデザインされている。
25th Bird Week Issued on May 10, 1971 (Showa 46) Bird Week was established in 1950 by the Japanese Society for Preservation of Birds for the purpose of disseminating bird knowledge and protection ideas. Bird-watching and lectures are held every year from May 10th to 16th in various parts of Japan.The stamp is designed with a great tit parent and child and birdhouse.
