ガールスカウト運動50周年 1970年（昭和45年） 7月 26日発行 ガールスカウトは、約100年前にイギリスで発祥した。日本では1920年に始まり、2020年には100周年を迎える。現在、152の国と地域で約1,000万人の会員が活動する、世界最大の少女と女性のための団体である。1970年7月、郵政省は日本がガールスカウト加盟50周年を記念して切手を発行した。切手には、敬礼するガールスカウトをデザインしている。
50th Anniv. of Girl Scout Movement Issued on July 26, 1970 (Showa 45) Girl Scouts originated in England about 100 years ago. It started in 1920 in Japan and celebrated its 100th anniversary in 1970. Currently, it is the world's largest organization for girls and women, with approximately 10 million members in 152 countries and territories.In July 1970, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued a stamp to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Japan's membership in Girl Scouts. The stamp is designed with a girl scout to salute.
