第52回ライオンズ世界大会 1969年（昭和44年） 7月 2日発行 郵政省は、第52回ライオンズクラブ世界大会東京開催を記念して切手を発行した。ライオンズクラブは1917年にアメリカの実業家メルビン・ジョーンズが、社会全般向上のための活動を目的として設立した。日本では1952年3月に東京ライオンズクラブが発足した。切手は、ライオンズクラブのマークと薔薇がデザインされている。

In July 1969, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued a stamp to commemorate the 52nd Lions Clubs International Convention in Tokyo.Lions Clubs wasfounded in 1917 by American businessman Melvin Jones for purpose of working toimprove society in general. In Japan, Tokyo Lions Club was established in March 1952.The stamp is designed with the Lions club mark and roses.
