東京国立近代美術館開館 1969年（昭和44年） 6月 11日発行 東京国立近代美術館は、日本最初の国立美術館である。最大の特徴は、横山大観、菱田春草、岸田劉生らの重要文化財を含む13,000を超える国内最大級のコレクションである。約200点を展示する「MOMATコレクション」は、日本美術の歴史を体験できる国内唯一の展示となっている。切手は、1969年6月、この美術館の建物完成を記念して発行され、パレットと、国立近代美術館がデザインされている。
National Modern Art Museum Issued on June 11, 1969 (Showa 44) The National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo is the first national museum in Japan. The biggest feature is the largest collection in Japan with more than 13,000 items including important cultural properties such as Taikan Yokoyama, Hishida Shunsou, and Ryusei Kishida. The "MOMAT Collection", which exhibits about 200 items, is the only exhibition in Japan where you can experience the history of Japanese art.The stamp was issued in June 1969 to commemorate the completion of the museum's building, and is designed with a pallet and the National Museum of Modern Art.
