国際人権年 1968年（昭和43年） 12月 10日発行 1968年は、1948年12月の国際連合による世界人権宣言採択の年から満20周年にあたる。国際連合は、この年を「国際人権年」として定め、「国内的及び国際的に人権分野での努力と計画の集中、また、その成果を国際的に再検討する年」としている。切手は、国際人権年の制定を記念して発行され、地球と人権マークをデザインしている。
International Human Rights Year Issued on December 10, 1968 (Showa 43) 1968 marks the 20th anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the United Nations in December 1948.The United Nations has designated this year as the "International Year of Human Rights," which is "the year in which efforts and plans are concentrated in the field of human rights domestically and internationally, and the results are reviewed internationally." Stamps are issued to commemorate the establishment of the International Year of Human Rights and design the earth and human rights marks.
